Bright Future Ahead for iRacing Enthusiasts

Since its Tempest wet weather system arrived earlier this year iRacing has kept up the development pace, something best exemplified by Greg Hill’s latest blog.

Not only are there new cars and tracks to look forward to but there are also a raft of further improvements in the works, including an intriguing career mode.

A 2003, Gen 4-style NASCAR stock car is also on the way (music to the ears of NASCAR Racing 2003 Season fans, no doubt), championed by iRacing’s Executive Director and former NASCAR race winner Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Mini Stocks are coming later this year too, with further tweaks to the sim’s recalcitrant UI and graphics engine.  iRacing’s programme of continuous improvement also includes updates to the sim’s audio design.

All in all, the future looks very bright for iRacers..
