F1 Esports' Future

The confusing fog surrounding F1 Esports continues it seems, despite confirmation the season will resume shortly.

With no official statements on exactly what led to the cancellation of the second event, or why the whole championship was barely promoted ahead of its relaunch, the situation still leaves fans in the dark.

It will be especially interesting to see if the teams, Formula One Management and series organiser ESL can put aside their apparent differences to complete the full calendar.

This will be an intriguing sub-plot to the on-track action but with a prospective viewership in the hundreds of thousands, and motorsport esports seemingly in the doldrums, sim racing desperately needs F1 Esports to succeed.
