KT Racing's Endurance Ambition

Although clearly still in its infancy, KT Racing’s Endurance Motorsport Series looks set to be a console-focused endurance racing game with Le Mans Ultimate firmly in its scope.

The French studio has bounced back impressively from losing both TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge and the WRC licence, with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown sure to be a megahit thanks to the rich heritage and nostalgia of the Test Drive brand. 

Although Endurance Motorsport Series doesn’t have a WEC licence (or a snappy title), having early representation from Porsche with its 963 LMDh Hypercar is clearly a plus. And with Motorsport Games still to officially confirm a console version of Le Mans Ultimate, KT Racing’s take on sportscar racing could steal a march on the Studio 397-developed title.

Regardless, more quality games on the market should help raise standards for the racing niche, which can only be a good thing for fans.
