New CSL COCKPIT hope for Fanatec
After last week’s tumultuous ousting of Thomas Jackermeier as CEO, Fanatec aims to bounce back with the release of its latest entry-level cockpit; the CSL COCKPIT.
The CSL is a compact, aluminium and steel-constructed cockpit designed to complement players au fait with the Fanatec ecosystem. The €399,99 price tag seems like a good deal initially but this comes without a chair, monitor stand and shifter holder.
Entry-level aluminium profile cockpits from rival manufacturers are similarly priced but have more features, which suggests the CSL may struggle to make a significant impact on sim racers.
