Rasmussen sweeps to F1 Sim Racing glory

Despite a torrid start to the F1 Sim Racing season, where the whole series appeared to be in jeopardy due to a dispute between Formula One Management, the teams and organiser ESL, the championship was able to end on a high note.

The Formula 1 community were on board too, with millions of YouTube viewers tuning in to see Red Bull Racing’s Frederik Rasmussen take the Drivers’ championship, with Ferrari snatching Constructors’ honours thanks to strong showings from Bardia Broumand and Nicolas Longuet.

Lots of positives then, with the rising popularity of F1 helping introduce new fans to sim racing: let’s hope this momentum carries through to the next edition.
