Revolutionizing the Motorcycle VR Experience

Although unlikely to sell by the bucketload, VRIDER can potentially provide the kind of visceral motorcycling experience missing from the VR scene thus far.

The team behind the official WSBK game has gone to great lengths to capture real audio from the championship’s motorcycles and re-create the series’ official tracks and liveries in-game.

However, the key to its success will be how players feel riding a motorcycle in VR, with the experience likely to be nausea-inducing - something the developers of TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 decided wasn’t worth pursuing.

With a dearth of quality, VR-compatible motorcycle games currently available, VRIDER could be a pioneer for bigger-budget VR bike titles in future.

Or it could be a sure-fire way to see your dinner re-appear…
