Nordschleife The Star?

In an iRacing-heavy news week, kudos have to go to Turn10 Studios for the way it is addressing Forza Motorsport’s various issues. Not only has it released the Nürburgring Nordschleife ahead of schedule but it’s also overhauling the way players can upgrade their cars.

Set to arrive in Update 6, all car parts will be made available from Car Level 1, giving virtual drivers more freedom to tune their cars the way they want to.

But the Nordschleife is the real star this week, with ‘The Green Hell’ still proving to be hugely popular with the sim racing community. The fact that every new track in Forza is a free-of-charge upgrade sits well with drivers too, as it enhances the multiplayer experience for all - no chance of friends having to sit races out because they don't own a certain DLC pack, for example.

Here’s hoping the redemption curve continues!
